The Almighty said, “And your Lord said, He will respond to you.” And the Most High said, “I pray to your Lord in humility and concealment.” And He said, “And if my servants ask you about me, I am close. Anas said, “The most frequent supplication of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was: ‘Oh God, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.” Agreed upon.The predecessors, may God be pleased with them, were keen to supplicate in all their affairs, for they used to ask God about everything, even fodder for their animals and salt in food.Many people do not supplicate to God except during adversity and crises, and this is a wrong course. It is legitimate for the believer to supplicate to God in prosperity and adversity, and if he is constantly in contact with God, his supplication will be answered during adversity.
